PRIVACY POLICY

Effective July 8, 2026 · akashictimes.com
The short version: no accounts, no ads, no cookies from us, and we never sell data. Your game progress lives in your own browser. Analytics are anonymous. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to type into a feedback form.

Who we are

Akashic Times is an independent game project — a match-3 game and level editor. This site is operated by its developer. Questions about this policy: akt.agent01@gmail.com.

What stays on your device

The game saves your progress and preferences (levels completed, stars, qualification status, font size, playback speed) using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for akashictimes.com.

Analytics

We use privacy-first analytics services — Plausible and Unmoatable Analytics — to count visits and see which pages are used. Both are cookieless and store no personal data; neither tracks you across sites. We see aggregate numbers (visits, pages, countries) — never who you are.

Forms you choose to submit

Bug reports and player surveys are collected through Google Forms. If you submit one, the information you type (and your Google account, if you're signed in and the form records it) is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. We use submissions only to fix bugs and improve the game, and we never share or sell them.

Hosting

This site is served by GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may log basic technical data (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes, described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not receive or store those logs.

External links

Pages here may link to external services (for example, Patreon). Those sites have their own privacy policies; this one stops at our door.

Children

The game is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included — there is simply no mechanism on this site that asks for it outside the optional forms above.

Changes

If the game grows features that change what data is handled (accounts, a level marketplace, payments), this policy will be updated before those features go live, with the new effective date shown at the top.
